The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the results for the Class 12 board exams for the academic year 2023-24. This year, over 39 lakh students registered for the CBSE board exams, with 1,621,224 students actually appearing for the exams. The overall pass percentage stands at an impressive 87.98%, showing a slight improvement from last year’s 87.33%.
Key Highlights:
- Pass Percentage: The pass percentage this year has seen a minor increase of 0.65% points compared to the previous year. In 2022 and 2023, Trivandrum emerged as the best district with a remarkable pass percentage of 99.91%, followed by Bengaluru at 98.64% and Chennai at 97.40%. Delhi West secured the fourth position with 93.24%.
- DigiLocker Access: CBSE mark sheets and passing certificates will be uploaded on DigiLocker. Students who appeared for the exam can download their results online by activating their board Class 12 Result in their DigiLocker account. They need to use their security pins to access digital copies of their marks sheets and certificates.
- Compartment Exams: After the announcement of the Class 12 results, students who did not clear the exams will have the opportunity to appear for the board compartment exams. Details about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration.
