Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualifications:
    • Group C: 12th pass with a minimum of 50% marks. Technical posts require matriculation with ITI or apprenticeship.
    • Group D: 10th pass or ITI certified.
  2. Scouts & Guides Qualifications:
    • President’s Scout/Guide or Himalayan Wood Badge holder.
    • Active membership in a Scouts organization for at least 5 years.
    • Participation in national, state, or district-level events.
  3. Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025):
    • Group C: 18-30 years
    • Group D: 18-33 years
    • Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC, PWD, and other categories.

Selection Process

  • Written Test: Total 60 marks with 40 multiple-choice questions and 1 essay on Scouts & Guides activities.
  • Certificate Marks: 40 marks based on participation in Scouts events at national, state, or district levels.

The test includes questions on topics like the history of Scouting, skills, social services, and significant events in the Scouts & Guides movement.
