Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Arts (excluding fine arts/performing arts)

  • Commerce

  • Science

  • Computer Applications

  • Business Administration

Minimum 60% marks from a recognized university are required.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a Shipyard, Engineering Company, Government, Semi-Government, or Commercial Organization.

  • Apprenticeship or paid training period will be considered as experience.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project is desirable.

Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)

  • Maximum Age: 45 Years

  • OBC Age Relaxation: 3 Years

  • PwBD & Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules (maximum 50 years after relaxation)

Salary Details

  • Monthly Pay: ₹24,400 (Consolidated)

  • Extra Work Compensation: Up to ₹6,100 per month

  • Higher pay may be given for candidates with additional experience in CSL or similar shipyards.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Written Test (100 Marks):

Objective Test

  • Duration: 90 Minutes

  • 80 Multiple Choice Questions

  • No negative marking

  • Subjects include:

    • General Knowledge – 5 Marks

    • Reasoning – 5 Marks

    • Quantitative Aptitude – 10 Marks

    • English – 10 Marks

    • Discipline Related – 50 Marks

Descriptive Test

  • Duration: 45 Minutes

  • Writing Skills – 20 Marks
